When an electric stove won’t ignite, first check if the stove is plugged in and all circuit breakers are switched on. You will want to check the pilot light for gas models. If the appliance power cord is plugged in and the pilot light is lit, then another part will need to be fixed. The reason for the issue might be an surface element, infinite switch, burner igniter or broil and bake element.

OVEN WON’T HEAT

A stove or burner or oven that doesn’t produce heat won’t do much. An oven does not heat if there’s a broken bake element or a malfunctioning oven sensor.
